Answer- In our daily life, we deal with different types of people. Actually, our true happiness depends on the relationships we maintain with others. But all human beings are not perfect. At our workplace, we meet some positive people as well as some negative people. Being positive or negative at a certain limit is understood but extremely positive or negative people create problems at the work place. So, we need to learn some techniques to respond these type of people.
If a person is extremely negative, there must be some reasons for his negativity. If you know that reason, it would become easier to handle that person. Otherwise it is better to remain silent and just smile in response.Always try to stay calm and respond them in a positive manner. Try to get them involved in a positive conversation, so that they can also understand the value and benefits of positivity. It would be beneficial to use magic words like thank you, sorry, welcome in your conversation with a negative person. Likewise, being positive is good but being extremely positive is not good. Negativity and sorrows are parts of life. If someone tries to ignore them that means he does not want to face the challenges of life. An extremely positive person always ignores the realities of life which is not good. We also have these people at our workplace. We should always respond positively to these people. Generally, these people are detached from empathy and do not understand others' problems. It would be beneficial to make them feel that extra positivity is also harmful for our development, we need to balance these two aspects of our personality.
Yes, perception of someone can be used to effect attitudes because the way we perceive ourselves and this world has a major impact on our personality and attitudes. We are always conscious regarding the perception of others towards ourselves. This helps us to change our attitudes which includes our behaviour, norms, values etc.
