Dealing with stress at home and at work is a different process. For relaxing at work, there are still rules in place that need top be followed. This means that no matter how much it is needed, an employee can only take breaks for a certain amount of time. Therefore, I keep in mind to not overexert myself at work, both physically and mentally. Work is divided into tasks that are done in order that makes it the most favourable output. This is done with appropriate rest schedule in mind. I like to involve myself in challenging tasks in order to keep myself from getting bored and essentially lack in performance which could result in performance-based stress.
At home, however, I make it a priority to not allow work to be the deciding factor in how the functions in my life occur. I usually go out for long walks, indulge in recreational activities and essentially keep the workload to a minimum in order to allow myself to clear out the slate for the next day at the job.
