• Through my volunteering experiences I have acquired vital transferable skills in creativity, problem solving, listening and communication. Volunteering has helped me increase my confidence in meeting new people, being in unfamiliar surroundings and taking on new challenges. I can now lead a volunteering project, which will develop valuable project management and team leadership skills.
• After my volunteering experience I realised that I am a people's person and I love dealing with people which helped me gain confidence and develop my communication skills. Using these public relation skills I can counsel people in community service,guide them and help solve their issues.
• Leadership skills I acquired made me understand people's different opinions and made me a democratic leader who believes in working together as a team and valuing each person's contribution. This would be of great help in community service as it is all about people and working in unity.
