Expert Solution

1,PROBLEM DEFINITION- As i have to take the interview of the daughter of CEO, this would be very difficult task to interview someone who is daughter of CEO but as being a ethical and sincere employee of that organisation, i will have to treat all the candidates equally.

2.IDENTIFY ALTERNATIVE- Coming to alternative to this problem the are various alternatives from which i can choose among.

(a) I have an option to leave this panel of the people who are taking the interview and replace my self with any other.

(b) Also i can treat the daughter of the CEO as a very special candidates and will be biased towards her by giving her advantage in the assessment process.

(C) Lastly , i have an option to   treat all candidates as one no matter he/she is related to CEO. I will choose the right candidate in basis of skills, experience and education not that someone is relative to other.

3.CHOOSE ALTERNATIVE-Among all the above stated alternatives , being honest towards my profession i will choose the last alternative which tells that i will treat all the candidates appearing for the interview equally and hire them on the basis of their skills rather than other parameters.

4.DEVELOP IMPLEMENTATION-Now comes to the implementation of the above choosen alternative . I will prepare a strategy for the assessment process and various parameters on which i have to judge all the candidates apperaing for the interview. I will prepare a list of question which will help me to assess their skills in the respective field. I will judge their behaviour , their communication skills, confidence , technical knowledge . After seeing all these parameters i will choose the candidate who fits best for this position .

5.EVALUATE THE RESULT- After the interview process is over i will evaluate the result and reach to the conclusion that

Taking interview of someone who is related to CEO of firm will be challenging. However, to handle this situation I would treat all candidates as one no matter he/she is related to CEO. I will choose the right candidate in basis of skills, experience and education not that someone is relative to other. I didn’t see any point of choosing the daughter of CEO if she lacks skills and experience comparing to other candidate.
