Describe the personal attributes of managers who manage ethically. Discuss how managing ethically can set the direction of a project.
An ethical manager needs to possess certain characteristics which ensure that the decision that they adopt is ethical. The attributes that are primary and important are firstly, honesty needs to be there and the manager needs to be honest towards the employees and the organization at any cost. Secondly, justice and fair treatment to all which will ensure that employees and the organization are treated well and in a fair manner rejecting discrimination. There are various other attributes as well but these are the two most important aspects of the managers who tend to follow a ethical approach. This also ensure that the project is in the right path and employees are motivated for the progress of the project and better efficiency as well. I believe that employees need to be very much treated in a fair manner that will give them the mileage to do good and work for the betterment of the project and the organization.
