How do you know when you lead? (If you have examples from your internship and/or your professional life, please share).

Is your leader "self" the same or different than your everyday "self"? Is this even a valid question?

In what ways might you want and/or need to change in order to lead successfully?

We came to know that we are leading is as below

• When the team is following me or my thoughts or my directions in the work place.
• When team is approaching me for suggestions/ guidance/ inputs / reviews.
• When I am coordinating and directing the team for execution of their projects/tasks.
• When I am a supervisor /manager in the work area and leading the team to achieve the business targets.
• The captain of the cricket team is leading the team in the match.

• Supervisor in the factory leads the team of labors to achieve production.
• Project manager leads the project team to complete the project on time.

My leader is the different than myself, because I want to lead the team in more systematically and more beneficiary to the organization as well as for the team members as well. This is a valid question, that for a leader, who is the leader he feels. The leader has another leader who is leading the leader.A leader always wants to be have a dream role leader or model leader whom he wants to copy or wants to be similar to his role model leader.

In below ways I might want and/or need to change in order to lead successfully as

• I want to have good influence on the team working in my leadership. Hence need to skilled in influencing team.
• I want to improve leadership qualities: I want to use the leadership qualities such that I can lead easily and comfortably.
• Skilled in achieving superior performance by team : I want to develop the team members and want to see that great milestone are achieved by team members.
• I want to be skilled in motivation: I want explore motivation for team members and wants to see that they are doing great job in their role.
• I want be skilled in better contribution by team: I want a better commitment and support from the team members towards the work in the organization.
