A sales intership will become my stepping stones for me to learn the following:
1. Fundamentals know-how of how sales department works with other departments to set sales targets
2. What should one have to succeed in sales
3. Know more on the job role of a person in the sales department
4. How do sales work in tandem with the marketing departments to find out areas where they can have dissproportonate success compared to invemented time/amount of money
I would be a good fit because I always wanted to know how sales decide targets and as a person who has fair bit idea of strategy behind breaking down sales targets for team I think I already know the basic fundamentals of sales. Having worked under sales departments at comparatively small companies , I know of the pre-sales process too.
The internship is a good fit because it will take my skills to the next level. By not only handling a bigger responsibility, I will get a chance to show a bigger impact. Also, the internship' mentorship programme would teach me the how sales work with different deparments. I find myself in between an excellent opportunity to improve myself.
