To account for a successful business type, We need to consider various customer behaviors and the way they want to purchase. We need to also work on what the customer is expecting. As a business, we need to work on all the possible ways to ensure that we target the right set of audiences and we don't waste money on marketing the products to the customers who are not interested.

Identify the Customer: We need to ensure that we select the right customer and we analyze the products they are looking for. For the successful and effective running of the business, we need to talk with them using various options like surveys, Marketing emails, Physical feedback forms, Feedback on websites, and many more.

Engage the customers in a more personal manner: We need to ensure that we have targetted the right audience and we have to get them engaged with the products that we have. We need to speak to them to get things more clear and we also have to check and understand how this product relates to them and we can predict if he is really going to purchase this or leave this.

Building Customer Base: Even though we have limited leads that are converted to deals we have to make sure that we do not leave other customers. We have to focus on them continuously and need to ensure that offers and promotions are also sent to the customers who do not have made any purchase. By doing this we get a few customers who are not regular shoppers but made a purchase.

Below customer life cycles should be followed.

  1. We have to reach out to the customers in available media and promote our product.
  2. Nurture the relationship and deliver new promotions to them.
  3. Post-sales communication should be also important.
  4. Feedback and taking necessary action to promote the purchasing experience of the customers.

Customer retention: We need to retain the customers from moving out. As we know there are many competitors out there in the market they are regularly focusing on launching new products with great discounts. This will attract the customers as a result we may lose the customer base. We need to ensure that we always send out a communication to the customers and retain them.

Advocates: If we have the customers with very good experience with our store they are the way to promote our business. Our business will depend on the way we treat our customers and how we make the purchase experience better.

By making our customers engage with the products we provide we have a good number of customers. and doing all the above steps it makes the feeling to customers that we know them very well.
