Psychotherapy is also known as talk therapy, is a psychological intervention that helps people to deal with broad spectrum of psychological disorders and emotional problems.

Psychotherapy is based on dialogue between the client and the therapist. It allows the clients to talk openly to the therapist in a supportive environment and this helps the client to gain insight into their problem. Thus, it is a collaborative effort of both client and the therapist to identify the problem and work for the desired change in thoughts and behavior of the client, that keeps them from feeling good.

Psychotherapy is important because it helps the people to be happier, healthier and more productive ,that is helps them to attain their optimal in life. Psychotherapy helps people to focus on their goals and thus,help in their day to day life. It helps people to deal with various stress conditions of life. It helps to individuals to identify the causes of their prolonged sense of helplessness and despair, and help them to overcome it. Thus, psychotherapy helps individuals to have better life that they deserve and helps in personal growth and development.
