Issues for Manufacturing Enterprises
Manufacturing enterprises are important to the U.S. economy
manufacturing employment has become increasingly more
concentrating in smaller industries and decreasingly in larger
companies.
- Revenue: Some of the small manufacturing
companies have limited clients and they have to generate revenue
based on the number of clients the company has tied up and in case
if obe clientd discontinues business with the industry , They would
be under troubles to generate the required revenue .
- Health insurance : some of the company would
have roblems with providing health insurance over for thier
employees . As the cost of medical insurance is increased every
year , Almost 50percent cost increase in a year . Hence the
industry may not be able to afford the such huge amount of money to
thier employees .
- Retirement:Retirement is an issue of concern
to smaller manufacturers. There are no mechanisms in place for
transferring knowledge from retiring employees.
- Lack of experience and knowledge:Another issue
facing small manufacturers is the lack of education of entry-level
production personnel who graduate from high school without the
basic reading and writing skills required for the jobs.
- issues on payments : The manufacturing
industries would not pay thier employees on time . They have a
major delay in clearing off the payments to the workers .
- Environmental concerns: Employee wellbeing is
a concern and the working environment must be taken into
consideration
