Manufacturing industries usually produce engine parts, semi finished goods, etc.Goods which are produced by these industries are  further used to produce machines or to run automobiles.Currently, manufacturing and automobile industries are facing many difficulties in producing engine parts. The major problem faced by these industries is competition.Due to arrival of new automobile manufacturers into the market, the demand for the engine parts of the existing manufacturing industries declined.Companies and customers who purchase engine parts have got many options and choices in the market and are attracted towards the engine parts which work more efficiently. This decreases demand for the engine parts of existing manufacturing industries.

Another problem faced by manufacturing industries is rapid change in technology and continuous change in demand for desirable product.Companies are demanding for those engine parts which work efficiently for long time and those with  better quality.Industries are not able to modify the engine parts as new techniques are used in modification and more capital is required..The new manufacturers are able to produce new engine parts with better quality by using modern technology. The reputed manufacturers and new manufacturers can easily adopt the changes which are need to be made to the product and they do not face any difficulty in serving efficient engine parts.Reputed manufacturers have huge capital inflow and can make changes in the engine parts as demanded by those industries which use these parts for further manufacturing process.By using the capital ,the development in engine parts are made and production process is carried out.Even new manufacturers have an option to consider the modification required for the engine parts and can produce these parts as per demand and desirability. The manufacturing industries which are not yet developed and have less capital flow, faces much difficulty in changing and modifying the engine parts as more capital is required for the modification. So,manufacturing industries are facing a problem in modifying engine parts.

Now a days, usage of software technology has decreased the demand for engine parts. The new technology has declined the usage of engine parts and has increased the usage of automatic machines which are controlled by remotes and computers. This made easy for the companies and customers to use such engine parts which are processed by computers and remote controls. This decreased the demand for the engine parts which are processed manually as it is a bit difficult to use such engine parts.

Availability of alternatives in the market has turned as the another major problem for manufacturing industries.Customers and companies who use engine parts for further manufacturing process tend to opt those engine parts which require less cash to run and use these parts. If cost required to run these engine parts is inflated, then companies and customers are opting similar alternative engine parts whose cost incurred in running these parts is low.Few engine parts are made up of harmful materials and chemicals.Certain engine parts are dangerous and require harmful methods in using these engine parts and products.Companies and customers are demanding for the goods which are safe to use and those which doesn't harm environment. So they are analysing and choosing those engine parts which are less harmful and doesn't damage nature and environment.

All these problems are affecting the domestic and foreign sales.Production level and sales rate has decreased drastically as demand for certain engine parts has been  declined both in home and foreign countries. This affected trading as well as decrease in exports is witnessed.Hence, these are major problems faced by manufacturers who produce engine parts.

CASE STUDY ON LEADERSHIP/ Aidensfield hospital currently faces major problems with staff, management, general performance and service quality. It is conceivable that these problems are related to the ‘leadership’ styles adapted by those in charge. The senior management have proposed some changes within the organisation to hopefully make improvements but making such decisions requires an in-depth understanding of what is going wrong and why. Leadership as a concept is often considered in isolation when in reality, it is coherent with...

Consider an engine parts supplier and suppose they determined that the variance of all cylindrical engine parts diameters produced by the current machine is .007. To reduce this variance, a new machine is designed. A random sample from the new machine is taken of 25 parts, which have a variance of .0046. At the 1% significance level, can we conclude that the new machine produces a smaller diameter variance? Please show all work hand written.

Martin Corporation sells component parts for the electronics industry. Martin Corporation currently sells 160,000 units per year at a price of $6.50 per unit; its variable cost is $4.00 per unit; and fixed costs are $350,000 for the year. Martin is considering expanding into two additional states, which would increase its fixed costs to $570,000 and would increase its variable unit cost to an average of $4.24 per unit. If Martin expands, it expects to sell 250,000 units at $7.10...

To test the ability of auto mechanics to identify engine problems, an automobile with a single engine problem was taken to 72 different auto repair shops. 42 of the 72 mechanics who worked on the car correctly identified the problem. Is there evidence to suggest that the true proportion of mechanics who could correctly identify this problem is less than 0.75? (a) Set up the null and alternative hypotheses. (b) Conduct the hypothesis test at α = 0.01. Clearly specify...

A factory supplies parts for motorcycles. It produces a cylindrical engine part that is supposed to have a diameter of 6 centimetres. The factory’s quality control manager suspects that the machine producing the engine part is not working properly and that the mean diameter being produced is less than the correct size. To test if this belief is correct, a random sample of 40 parts is tested and measured. The sample mean diameter was found to be 5.9 cm. Assume...
