The roadmap theory of service industry clarifies the arrangement or steps associated with the advancement during the time spent for the development of an Economy. Each economy has three primary parts agriculture segment, secondary segment or manufacturing segment and service segment. With development and improvement of an economy there is change in extent and interrelation among it's essential sectors.

In each economy the Agriculture division is the essential and most significant area yet with development of an economy there is ascend in income just as ascend in per capital income, thus, the noticeable quality of agriculture sector decays, and there is ascend in industrial sector. With the progression of time the fundamental results of agribusiness arrives at it's immersion limit and the interest for industrial items rises, as income of individuals rises. Accordingly the industrial area share in GDP rises.

Afterward, in post industrialized period, as income of the individuals keeps on rising, individuals interest for services like Education administration, wellbeing administrations and so on rises. Accordingly benefits becomes costly expanding the significance of service sector. Accordingly individuals move to service Industry.
