Why might scientific and technical instruments industry have such low turnovers and food wholesalers have such high turnovers?

Scientific and Technical instruments industry are having a very low amount of buyers whereas these buyers are providing them with higher margin on their products and they are not related to generation of higher volume but they are related to generation of higher margins.

Whereas food wholesalers have higher turnovers because they are mostly working on a small margin on a large volume so food wholesalers will always be having a larger turnover due to larger catering to a wide variety of customers and they will be used in daily life of consumers so they are used by large number of consumers and the margin of the products will be very lower based upon a large volume.

Hence, it can be said that scientific and Technical instrument industry have low turnover and food wholesaler have high turnovers.
