In order to prevent or avoid legal issues and investigations of EEOC, Organizations private as well as government must use right resources or publications or ways to recruit qualified minorities and women candidates.The Best way to find qualified minorities and women candidates for government employment is the use of external recruitment methods.
External recruitment method is used to find talented and qualified candidate outside the organization.
The first resource or publication is advertising job posting in newspaper and magazine which cater to minorities and women candidates.
The second resource government and public agencies run by government can use Radio and television advertising at no cost. This method is very effective as reach to wide range of audience including minorities and women where government can run it as public service ad.
The third resource would be use of billboard advertising, direct mail campaigns and visit to reserve centers.These resources will help government agencies to attract minorities and women candidates with required KSAO and qualified for the job position.
The fourt resource will be the use of internal staff/officers in government agencies who will refer qualified minorities and women candidates for the government and get incentive in return.
