Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMPs) are the minimum sanitary and
processing requirements for food companies.
GMPs are fairly broad and general and can be used to help guide the
development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

of designated operations or in designated situations.
GMP standard operating procedures are very helpful and every
establishment is encouraged to
have SOPs for every task or activity in the facility.
