Underemployment Social security Act of Human Resources Malaysia

In the context of the above act, the following are the two major schemes that could be proposed along with the details of the proposal and the benefits of such a scheme.

1. Village and City adoption scheme: This may be ptoposed as a pilot project under this scheme wherein a particular village or a city could be adopted by certain groups with the support of the Malaysian government so as to identify the advantages and potential of that particular area and providing employment opportunities at those locations. The major benefit of such a scheme is that the local population would get the benefit of such a scheme and thus those population could be brought to the employment sector. Thus, those population could get the right amount of exposure which could be made use of by the economy of the state for better opportunities.

2. Basic skills promotion scheme: This may be started as a pilot project so as to impart proper skills to the population under consideration and thus those population may be given the required training to equip them for proper employment. The major benefit of such a scheme is that the population who were left behind due to lack of skills may be brought forward to the employment sector and hence a major benefit can be reaped by the economy of the state with tge help of such a population.
