Reasons for LG mobile division's poor sales

As we all know that LG has become irrelevant in the mobile market, whereas LG's competitors Samsung and iphone are fastly growing day by day. When we check the past scenarios we can see that LG was once a stalwart of smartphone industry. But now-a-days the the LG smartphone industry was passing through its worst times. The following are some of the reasons for LG mobile divisions poor performance; They are,

  • In the late 2018, LG brought in a so-called "turnaround expert" to lead its struggling mobile division. But the strategy doesn't worked well. Thereby LG faced a massive loss in 2019.
  • The first serious blow to LG's reputation came in 2015. It's then - flagship, the G4 had bootloop issues. This caused the users were forced to seek replies for their quieries and get replacement for their devices.
  • Regarding modifications on LG as G4 , the device come up with different attachments to be connected at the bottom of the phone as additional functions, but the idea was a big waste. It turned to more weakness than strength of the phone.
  • When speaking about software front, LG doesn't have a stellar performance either. The company performed very slow to release major software updates .
  • LG is in the 16th position among smartphones due to all these reasons.
  • On the part of cameras LG's are still having very poor techs.
