Five social impact of the COVID19 crisis towards society. Write more than 800 words
The corona virus disease (covid 19) ia sn pandemic, where all the societies attacking and suffering at their core. It is a human social and economic crisis. Entire world is suffering economic crisis, the world suffers in stop killing people, spreading human of human.
this particularly affects all the world population by mainly social group members, preventing vulnerable situations, affecting poverty people, infants, children, older persons with disabilities, homeless people, removing jobs, unemployment, it also increases xenophobia.
Poverty of the people and homeless people:
Daily basis workers have to move on every day for work. But, due to this pandemic situation moving is prohibited to stop spreading of virus. There by situation of those people become worst although government helped them.
Unemployment of the employers:
During to this pandemic situation, many companies and organizations reduced in giving salaries and few organizations stopped giving salaries. There by the situation of the employers became hurdle, which they cannot handle during this period. The poverty of the employees started for these people also during this period. The people are not physically in school after the closure of schools and universities across many areas of the world. The disturbances in education and learning could have medium and long-term consequences on the quality of education, though the efforts made by teachers, school administrations, local and national governments to cope with the unprecedented circumstances to the best of their ability should be recognized.
Youth are in critical due to the virus’s spread and its impact on public health, society, and the economy at large.
Older people:
Already the older people suffers with many diseases like cardiovascular diseases, kidney problems, liver diseases, muscle weakness of these people are more affected than adults. Due to this reason these people decreases their immunity and affected more with this virus. The death rate for older people is more comparing to adults.
Infants and children:
Due to under development of body parts have low immunity and affected more with this virus.
Persons with disabilities:
They are facing troubles in availability of goods and services, accessibility of health services. Pre- existing diseases can also be affected due to lack of accessibility of health services. Cleaning homes and washing hands frequently made troublesome, due to physical disability, environmental barriers and interrupted services. Other people may not be able to practice social distancing themselves as thoroughly as other people, because these people regular help and support from others for every day care.
Indigenous people: (vulnerable)
The higher rates of communicable and non-communicable diseases due to lack of access to essential services, absence of appropriate healthcare services. .
The large number of these people who are outside of the social protection system contributes to vulnerability, particularly if they are dependent on income from the other economy like tourism, employment and handicrafts in rural and urban areas. During this period, governments should give financial support indigenous peoples and other vulnerable groups.
Sports:
Sport is the major source which increases economic status of the world. Due to this pandemic situation, there is lack of economy for the world government, physical fitness issues in athletes, some sports people may suffer with financial issues.
Religious impact: due to cancellation of workships, churches, mosques will impact mental health of the people which increases xenophobia.
Due to poverty, unemployment, lack of shelter, food, money, lack of salaries, lack of services, help and support people are having tendency to commit suicides, people will suffer with loneliness,
Political parties also plays role in playing politics.
Implementing sufficient physical distance within households is very important to prevent the spread of covid-19 to older adults, as long as such safety measures are in full consultation with older persons and on a voluntary basis.
Similarly, places like prisons, jails and immigration centers, marriages functions, where the virus can spread rapidly and higher risks to their older population, especially if access to healthcare is already poor.
For many people, internet and other digital technologies has become a window to the world and the channel to connect with family, friends and the community and older friends which decreases loneliness.
The overcrowding, limited healthcare, water and sanitation, can make for even greater threats during the pandemic situation. During an infectious disease outbreak, malnutrition rates can increase sharply, leading to even higher mortality rates because of poverty many people lack of money they can feed nutritious food where it causes mal nutrition. This malnutrition causes low immunity results in attack of pandemic virus.
To overcome these situations, all the people should stay safe; government should support all the people equally. Government should assist financial support to everyone and should provide adequate facilities, services, health insurances, services to all the people equally. All the people should maintain hygiene conditions, taking self care, eat healthy food to increase immunity and to fight against COVID- 19.
