Consider the 8 Ps of marketing (strategies). Describe a situation where each of the 8Ps of marketing could be modified (if only by a little) when marketed in two different countries. You choose the example product and the two countries. If you need a citation, please feel free to use it.
Eight p's of Marketing are as follows:
1.Product:
Product is the very first P of marketing .It all about what is your product?what your are going to offer to consumer? What are its key feature ?what kind consumer'sproblem your product going to solve.
Product can be modified or offer according to the demand of consumer .what all features consumer want from the product .
2.Price:
Price is something that consumer want to give for the product .company must determine at what price thier consumer want to buy the product.How much your taget consumer is able to pay for the product.Accordingly company must offee their price.so that your product widely accept by the consumer.
3.Place:
Company has to identify the place where they are going to sell thier product .They have to identify where thier product going to sell.They must consider thier product should be available to customer conveniently.other wise it can affect the demand of product.
4.Promotion:
communication with your consumer is important to let people know what your product going to offer to consumer.Advertising and public relation is important to promote your product and let people know about your product.so that they get aware about product.
5.People:
People are your target customer to whom you are going to sell your product .They are the one who will create demand for your prodcut and they are actual king because of them we are producing product.so company must determine what features your product going to offer for customer.
6.Process:
Differentiating the process ,company has to identify the process that company is going to follow to deliver the product or service to the customer.A formal process describe the standard level of service.
7.Physical evidence:
Producing physical evidence is another important P .whatever service you are offering you must create physical evidence of it so that they must feel connected with product or service and earn experince .for example ambience of high standard of restaurants attached a experience with you.
8.Philosophy:
what philosophy company going to follows its an integration of marketing .It essential for customers to understand the vision,mission of the company .what company is going to offer to them.how it can solve customer 's problem.
situation when 8 p's of marketing can be modified:
COMPANY :Mcdonald's modify different burger (product ) in different countries( Place)
Its modify its burger according to the taste and preference of different country's customer.likewise In India people dont like to eat beaf burger its against thier aesthetic value so they modified burger in india accoridng to the taste of indian customer where as ALOO TIKKI is very famous among indians so they offee aloo tikki for indian customers where as they sell beaf burger to USA consumer because they dont have any problem with beaf burger so they offer to them .In short as place changes product also need to change according to the preference of customers.
