Below are the important aspects for designing an e-commerce website.

FUNCTIONALITY ; -

The Functionality of a e-commerce website refers to the time taken to load the website on a browser. The faster the loading time, the better is its functionality .

INFORMATIONAL ;-

The customers are keen in buying a product from an e-commerce site provided that it is worth the price. Hence, it is necessary to convey the information regarding the product in detail. Providing the information may include images of the product, providing textual information, video demonstration of the product etc .

EASE OF USE ;-

An e-commerce site may be used by different age group and also by people belonging to different background. Hence, an e-commerce must be developed in a more efficient way such that it is easy to use and operate.

REDUNDANT NAVIGATION ;-

When a user makes a specific query regarding a product, several links are generated for a product. Some of the results generated are irrelevant to the customer. Sometimes, these query searches may be irritating for the users due to redundant (duplicate/repeated) navigation. Hence, it must be taken into consideration for building a proficient e-commerce website.

EASE OF PURCHASE ;-

This is the key factor for an e-commerce success story. Ease of purchase not only refers to the minimum number of clicks the user does while shopping a product online but also to the modes of payment. MULTI-BROWSER FUNCTIONALITY ;-
