Identify the Problem/Selection of Topic:The basic question that is asked during an interview is “Are you willing to work any shift and work overtime?” Well we all know that by answering “yes” increases the chances of moving forward in the hiring but they fail to realise that it might lead to administrative, financial, physical, and psychological problems. The problem lies in the approach of the people who want to be hired and the level of the economy along with coruption and unemployment.In the long run authorities feel that they work for the country and the country doesnt do anything materialstic for them, if they dont get their needs.This in fact affects their performance.On the same lines sleep is the basic necessity of any living being. In any field you cannot expect to give your full to a work in case you dont fulfill your needs.

Reviewing the Literature: Any country which has all the resources even in abundant cannot guarantee that it will be crime free as everyone needs them. The only thing that can cure the problem of overtime budgets in law enforcement auhorities is that it has to be available to everyone at affordable prices and whole of the economy is able to afford them, this will reduce the crime and will also affect the need of law enforcement autorities to work overtime or develop overtime budgets.

Developing your theoretical and conceptual framework:The whole thing is viscious cycle, wherein it leads to poverty and crime which develops a need or law enforcement on higher grounds when added with corruption can affect the working of any country.

Clarifying your research question: The question arises that can the country not afford hiring law enforcement authorities for a fixed number of hours and which is efficient for the given number of hours

Developing a research design: The whole problem can of overtime of law enforcement authorities can be reviewed by review team and the whole of the effeeciency can be improved with continuous monitoring by the higher authority and their work by another authority that is independent and unbiased.
