Describe what happens to the wastewater from our homes, and give information about the wastewater treatment plants ( preferred if you mentioned Abu Dhabi - UAE ). What they are, what area they serve, what is the capacity, what level of treatment they provide, what do they do with the cleaned output, etc.
the study should conclude with a tangible plan for wastewater management from a specific location such as school, a town, a farm, a mall and so on.
Wastewater is water polluted by human consumption. Sewage is
"water used from a combination of domestic, industrial, commercial
or agricultural activities, surface runoff or rainwater, and runoff
or sewage." Wastewater is therefore a product of domestic activity,
industry, trade or agriculture. Wastewater behavior varies
depending on the source. Types of wastewater include: household
wastewater from households, municipal wastewater from communities
(called sewage) and industrial wastewater. Sewage can contain
chemical, biological and biological substances.
Households can produce wastewater from toilets, running water,
dishwashers, washing machines, bathtubs and showers. Households
that use dry toilets produce less wastewater than households that
use flush toilets.
Sewage can be transported to a sewer that contains only sewage. In
other words, wastewater can be transported into a combined sewer
that transports both rainwater and sewage and industrial
wastewater. After treatment in the treatment plant, the treated
wastewater (called wastewater) is discharged into the receiving
water body. The terms "wastewater use" and "water collection" are
applied if the treated wastewater is used for other purposes.
Wastewater that is discharged into the environment without proper
treatment can cause water pollution.
In developing countries and low-density rural areas, wastewater is
treated by on-site sewer systems and not transported to sewers.
These systems include septic tanks that are connected to drainage
systems, on-site drainage systems, water heating systems, and
more.
