What is the registration process, including the activities that comprise it?
In the hospitality business, registeration process is where the activities and information registered together to make sure the guests are including their details and hospitality business ks detailing the same to make sure to supply good services. The activities comprised under this hospitality business for the registeration process are:
1. Preregistration activities: To make sure the hotel is havimg
the available rooms and services to provide the right supply of
services to the customers.
2. Creating the registration record: A registeration record is
maintained of the customer in a folder to make sure the right
details are entered.
3. Assigning the guest room and room rate: The room of the customer
is assigned as per the registeration and the needs of the customer
and the per day rate of the room is communicated effectively.
4. Establishing the guest's method of payment: The method of
payment is communicated and cleard either through e banking method
or cheque or cash.
5. Verifying the guest's identity: The identity of the customer or
guests is verified using a personal id or license making sure the
person is authorised and the same who did the registeration
process.
6. Issuing the room key or access code: After all the authorisation
and checking, the room key is issued to the guests for the room
they have checked in and registered for.
7. Responding to special requests: Finally the guest is being
provided the room and the requests and room services are being
assigned and served as per the orders issued.
