- scheduling of treatments and surgies can be organized in a proper way by having the records of number of patients in the hospital and the type of treatment they require.
- the verification on medical basis of the patient can be done easily at a future time as the records will be present by the registration process done once. Verification can be required at different times like for insurance companies settling claim of medical bills of patients.
- billing process for the accounting system becomes easy and organized as based on this information the billing department can simply know the expenses they have to charge the patient for, he doesnt has to give the details he has been treated for in the hospital seprately for the payments.
- it helps in maintaining the records for the hospital to keep a data of type of patients they have treated and the details of the treatment given for references in future and growth of the hospital. It helps in collecting data for auditing purposes also.
The two signatures that are required in the process are first the consent that the treatment they need to be given to them and second the advice to the insurance provider for the payment to be done for the treatment they are getting from the hospital.
