The use of social media for recruitment as an effective approach to recruit workers would result in:
a) Reaching out to the masses, as almost all workers and prospective workers are having account on one or the other social media.
b) All prospective workers are not registered on the employment agencies, so we can reach out to them also through coming on social media with employment offers.
c) Trustful and efficient workers can be encouraged to have a change though social media.
d) Social media are having more information about the prospective worker, making the company to make best choice.
e) We can have primary interview on the media screen itself, thus helping to have initial screening of the candidates.
The steps that would be taken to maximize the effectiveness of the additional workers using social media are:
1) Determination of the group of workers which are required to be employed in the company.
2) Selection of the social medias to place offer of employment to the prospective workers.
3) The draft matter which has to be placed on the social media to invite candidatures.
4) Placing of the Invitation letter on the social media alongwith the terms and conditions.
5) Going through the available information about the workers on the social media and do the initial screening.
6) Calling the candidates for the final interview and employment.
