The medical technologist forgot to centrifuge the urine sample and proceeded to the microscopic examination, instead. How will this affect the result of the urinalysis?
Explain comprehensively and completely.
The centrifugation process if the urine sample is important is the certifugation process is important to detect and obtain sediments such as red or white blood cells, casts, crystals, baterial or yeast like microscopic sediments after centrifugation. If the process of centrifugation is avoided then the sediments will be suspended in the urine sample and during microscopic analysis we will not be able to detect the sediment sample leading to improper diagnosis and feeling the purpose of urine analysis and microscopic analysis at the same time. if after certification the sediment are found which indicates crystals then the kidney related disorders or other related problems can be effectively detected and reported. If the sediments of yeast or bacterial origin are found then the possibility of infection and diagnosis of urine related infection can be done and appropriate treatment can be given to the patient. therefore it is very important to carry out the process of centrifugation so as to obtain a proper microscopic analysis leading to a correct diagnosis and finally resulting in a correct treatment which can effectively help patient while following all the procedures like sanctification in a proper way.
