Expert Solution

The centrifugation process if the urine sample is important is the certifugation process is important to detect and obtain sediments such as red or white blood cells, casts, crystals, baterial or yeast like microscopic sediments after centrifugation. If the process of centrifugation is avoided then the sediments will be suspended in the urine sample and during microscopic analysis we will not be able to detect the sediment sample leading to improper diagnosis and feeling the purpose of urine analysis and microscopic analysis at the same time. if after certification the sediment are found which indicates crystals then the kidney related disorders or other related problems can be effectively detected and reported. If the sediments of yeast or bacterial origin are found then the possibility of infection and diagnosis of urine related infection can be done and appropriate treatment can be given to the patient. therefore it is very important to carry out the process of centrifugation so as to obtain a proper microscopic analysis leading to a correct diagnosis and finally resulting in a correct treatment which can effectively help patient while following all the procedures like sanctification in a proper way.

A student used acetone to clean a sample vial, but forgot to allow it to evaporate completely before pouring the graduated cylinder of fraction 2 into the vial—the fraction was collected correctly from the distillation apparatus but then became contaminated with acetone prior to GC analysis. This experimental error was quite evident via GC: there was an additional peak on the graph. Would there be any effect on the calculated percent composition of the two esters for this fraction? Briefly...

A technologist performed an antibody screen on a preoperative patient sample using a low-ionic-strength reagent as the antibody potentiator. The manufacturer’s instructions indicated a maximum incubation time of 30 minutes for the procedure. The technologist got distracted because of a heavy workload and an emergency trauma patient. Consequently, the antibody screen in progress remained in the 37°C incubator for 1 hour. The technologist completed the antibody screen procedure. The technologist interpreted the patient’s antibody screen as negative. What implications can...
