Systems theorists do not simply think of family as if it is a cybernetic system, but actually regard the family as a cybernetic system. Why is this distinction important? What are the dangerous implications of this way of thinking of families, including the individuals in them, if you extend systemic thought to its logical conclusion?
According to System Theory of family,Family is the cybernatic system which is self-regulating and goal-directed system. It is viewed in terms of social legal boundaries demiting the certain role relationships and interactional patterns. The distinction.Family completely is a cybernatic system as it is goal directed,Goal of having good relationship with each other and nurturing love and compassion to each other for the successful fulfillment of the Affiliation needs. The dangerous implication of this kind of goal oriented thinking is that family member will keep thinking over every goal and will behave only for the sake of achievement of the goal that can be claimed as self-optimised thinking which lacks showing the incoherent true value.Behaving in the logical way in the family may sometimes lead to interpersonal conflicts leading to malfunctioning of an adaptive and desired behaviour. Eg-showing aggression to the family for the sake of getting something may lead to certain conflicts among the family members.
Conclusion-Family demands not the System Approach but love and affection without any selfish motive.
