do you think the argument of radical feminists concerning the elimination of a family system to create equal conditions for men and women is acceptable or not? Why or why not?

Solutions

Expert Solution

  • Since some family structures focus on male patriarchy in which men dominate and females are treated as subordinates therefore this kind of structure needs to be changed. Eliminating this of structure can help in eliminating lower status of women in families which is just meant for cooking and child bearing and also violence aganist women can be curbed.
  • The family structures forms the basis of how a child develops his personality and especially in the case of a male child if they get exposed to patriarchal family environment they will turn out to become the same therefore to instill the value of equality in children its important that such structures need to removed and modified, focusing on equal treatment of men and women in the family. This is the core of the problem and therefore it should be removed. The values of gender equality need to start from the family structure only then this problem can be overcomed.
