The generation or cohort born after World War II between 1946 to 1964 are classified as baby boomers. Globally baby boomers have seen higher fertility rates and longevity, higher disposable incomes, strong inclination towards savings as against consumption and investment, higher focus on future savings rather than current investment.

The boomernomics represents how stock proces will fal as bommers cash out their retirement account, real estate prices will plunge as majority will sell redundant properties to encash their future savings, and thus keeping the economy humming.

The top three industries which will benefit largely are Telecommunications industry for higher mobile call and data spending, the pharmaceutical industry for excessive consumption of medicines and largely the healthcare industry which will see surge in cases related to disorders.
