First wave of baby boomers are about to cross retirement age and hence cost of medicare shall rise owing to probability of malfunctioning in body due to disease and ailments
The cost of medicare for future generations is all expected to rise substantially and lead to inflation.
Healthcare sector thus must be able to handle this excess demand which apparently doesn't seem to meet because of inadequate supply of quality healthcare systems and staff.
Government must aid medicare using robotic surgery, and staff training from top Medical Schools and must encouraging and provide scholarships to future generations to boost quality supply. Quality infrastructure and higher accessibility is need of hour.
Impact on transportation and housing has been more profound as the baby boomers retire or either die early which leads to selloff of old homes and creates supply glut which causes sharp fall in prices. Travel gets marginally affected as young generation seen more indulgent in it.
