1. Most common drugs are used among teenagers are marijuana , alcohol and drugs . many of the illegal drugs are used by teenagers nowadays. The dangerous effect occurs from it is severe,
* it will affect the growth and development of teens and especially brain development.
* risky behaviours , such as unprotected sex , and dangerous driving.
* On adults problems like heart disease, high BP, and also sleep disorders.
2.Risk Factors of CHILD ABUSE
* Single parenting , Financial stress, Family crisis, Domestic violence, or other marital problems or conflicts, A child with disabilities of physically or developmentaly , Social or family isolation, Unemployment , Poverty these factors lead to child abuse .
PREVENTION ;
* Help vulnerable children and their families, like volunteer
* Discipline your child thoughtfully , use privilleges to teach and educate your children good behaviours
* Check your behaviour , this means abuse is not just physical, abuse is by words and actions .
* provide education to yourself and others about the risk of child abuse. supporting child to improve their behaviours.
* Teach the child about their rights
* educate child and know about what is child abuse how it will occure.
* explain the signs like inappropriate sexual behaviours of others etc.
* Report the abuse , if any child abuse is present in your site should report it .
3. Elderly Substance abuse risks
The elder adults are more at risk of substance abuses because of ,
Physical risk factors like disorders present in older adults , like chronic pain, disabilities, especially loss of loved ones , in job field stress like workload, forced retirements or financial loss , poor health status .
Prevention,
Identify the problems of elders and how to releive it.
Educate the elders about the dangerous states of substances abuses
provide a mental support to the clients
if they want a counselling or psychotherapy provide it wisely .Better understanding of issues that they confront is crucial.
4.TRAUMA ; Trauma is a emotional response to a terrible event like an accident, rape or natural disaster.
Shake Baby Syndrome ; It is a serious brain injury resulting from forcefully shaking an infant or toddler, it usually occurs when a parent or caregiver severely shakes a child in frustation or anger. it may results in permanent brain injury or death.
5. Physical Abuse , Sexual Abuse , Emotional abuse, neglect, abandonment, and self neglect.
example ; Bodily pain, Non consensual sexual contact of any kind with an elderly person, refusal or failure
