Nursing science provides the basis for professional nursing. The history of theory, development and theoretical thinking in nursing began with the, notes on nursing, of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.

During crimean war nightingale worked and cared injured persons providing fresh air and water, patient caring, good environment, cleanliness. This all theory and practices became very attractive and nursing schools were started based this theory.
