Gender socialization refers to various behaviors, attitudes and ideas which are in general to be considered appropriate and acceptable to a particular gender. It is a form of expectations that a particular culture has regarding how a gender must behave in society. This is debated upon as stereotypes and judgemental action which should not be a measure of a person's morals in the modernist theories. There are various issues which have been discussed in the feminist theory. Some of them are focused on the liberal aspect where education and occupation is focused on. However, it has also extended to issues in the political aspect as well which includes the strive for equal representation and reservations.
