Documenting the ideas or work done by the children is the process in which the work and activities done by the children are kept in a properly documented way. It creates a healthy impact on the minds of the children as they feel that their works are being valued upon. It also engages the parents and helps in guiding the teachers as it marks the level of progress done by the children. Documenting and displaying helps the intellectual growth of the children and benefits children, parents and their teachers. Children enjoy looking at their creativities which their parents had saved from their childhood days. It gives them the strength and encourages them to work accordingly. Documenting children’s work clarifies the importance of plays in the development of a child. It helps in understanding the value of play and fun to the children. It also gives an idea as to what the child’s next step would be. At times, it also shows the backwardness of a child if the child lacks the strenght in his childhood days.
