Corporate social responsibilty is an ethical framework which requires an individual or an entity to do things for the welfare of the society or the widerwider comm as a whole. An entity be it an organization or an individual do these things for the betterment of the society because it believes that it has an ethical responsibilty to do so.

Social responsiveness on the other has is an act which one performs in response to a social stimulus. For example if someone is deprived of food the social responsiveness will make one gather food for them. An organization performs social actions in response to some social needs.

Social performance is refered to as the act translating an organization's social mission into reality .If the organization has been successful its its social duties and responsibility it is called social performance.
