Its scope in healthcare includes Quality health care which is a complex system of people and processes. When they work effectively together health care organisations are capable of great clinical outcomes, patient, family and employee experiences. Structuring an organisation to enable the line to fully own yhe outcome produces results.
The only sustainable competitive advantage today is the ability to change,adapt and evolve and to do it better than competition. Measuring and monitoring the outcomes of change process is essential for recognising whether or not the chage process has fulfilled its purpose. Healthcare changes should mostly be associated with improvement in quality and safety along with cost effectiveness. It also entails incremental improvement on existing organisational capabilities, more empowerment to changing agents and continues support to changing healthcare professionals.
