1) The needs in maslow's hierarchy needs include physiological needs ,safety needs and social needs.safety and security needs keeping us safe from harm.These needs include shelter,job.health and safe enviornment.These security needs are important for survival ,but they are not as important as the basic physiological needs
2) Medical assistantas serve as valuable liaisons between patients and their health care team. Administrative duties may include
a) managng the reception area
Aclean well organized reception gives the patient confidence in their providers
b) Scheduling appoinments
maintaining a standard schedule allows the doctors and nurses to provide care for more number of patients,decreases waiting area time,improve productivity and revenue
c) Triaging telephone calls
it 's a part of medical assistant's role to direct calls to the most appropriate provider.
d) Assisting with billing
its also important to act as the bridging the gap between the clinical and business aspects of medicine
e) Rooming the patients
patients also require prepration for hospitalization,A friendly and empathatic approach put them to ease and sets the stage for a comfortable and trelaxed interaction.
f) Managing medical records
keeping a detailed records is a standard part of providing quality care .medical assistant should ensure the necessary informations are recorded correctly and transcribed properly.They also have to manage the transfer of records between providers
h) Assisting with treatments and procedures
This includes gathering the required supplies to serving as an extra pair of hands for the doctors or nurses .Also plays an important role in cleaning ,disinfection and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
