A philosophy of nursing is a statement that outlines a nurse's values, ethics, and beliefs as well as be their motivation for being part of the profession. It covers a nurse's perspective regarding their education, practice, and patient care ethics.
As a current or an uprising or an aspiring nurse you may have personal beliefs about what nursing is to you and may have some confusions about Nursing. A philosophy of Nursing helps you in identifying the beliefs and clear your confusion.
How do you write Philosophy of Nursing :
Start it by asking by yourself the following questions.
Check the above questions with yourself and co-relate them with your personal life experiences and stories. Consider adding a story from your life that addresses your interests for the calling. Incorporate knowledge into the characteristics and qualities that apply to nursing.
Incorporate how you intend to affect society through nursing.
Do you intend to utilize nursing as an instrument for positive social change? Provided that this is true, in what territories? Contact on the 10,000 foot view you have for yourself and your general surroundings.
My own guiding principle and convictions as an individual are thoughtfulness, genuineness, constancy, long lasting learning, security, family, and achievement in accomplishing my objectives. I utilize these qualities and convictions to settle on close to home choices and carry on with my consistently life. I accept that the center of nursing is mindful, information, and honesty.
Go through all the important goals you are planning from your childhood, check whether they can be achieved. Check twice are you doing it with your heart without any pressure. We should be able to enjoy our work or job. Nothing costs more than our happiness.
