Women in general have always faced severe discrimination and gender bias in the society. However, 1960s saw huge protests by women and civil society members against gender discrimination across the world which originated in the developed countries such as US and Europe. The movement ultimately led to many favorable changes across the world for women, as far as women's rights are concerned.
In my opinion it is true that blacks in general and black women in particular continue to face discrimination and racial bias as well as prejudices in the modern society, at their workplaces, and other public places etc.
However, I also believe that prejudices and bias are highly abominable and can not be quantified as being twice or thrice as high as for a different group of people in the history. Every discrimination and racial bias should be condemnable and punishable so as to change mindset of people in the world today.
