What does Dr. Anderson mean when he refers to “aerobic power”?
Aerobic power is the ability of muscles to use oxygen obtained from organs such as heart and lungs to the maximum capacity possible, while performing energy demanding activities, to produce energy. It is measured by measuring the amount of oxygen consumed per unit body weight per unit time.It helps in burning of more calories and thus in weight loss, it is a measure of fitness in athletes and so on.
