What does Kelly mean when he refers to “creativity”?
Kelly says that creativity is something you practice, not just a talent you’re born with. Everyone is born with creativity because as children, we were very enthusiastic and explorative. We used to look for answer to anything that we don’t understand or know. As we grow, we lose our curiosity because creativity is functional and practical not something that stays with one even one doesn’t practice it. People don’t practice it for various reasons such as fear of the messy unknown, fear of being judged, fear of the first step and fear of losing control. If we overcome these four barriers he says that one could continue to grow successfully.
