ROLE OF A NURSE LEADER IN MANAGEMNT MEETINGS
Introduction
Team Managers are concerned with organizational performance the accumulated end results of all the organization‘s work processes and activities. It is an important concept, and managers need to understand the factors that contribute to high organizational performance. They should evaluate and control performance because it leads to better asset management, increased ability to provide customer value, and to improve organizational knowledge. This performance have an impact on an organization‘s reputation. If customers are not satisfied and they are not receiving something of value from their interactions with organizations, they‘ll look elsewhere.
As a nurse leader she is the one who assesses her team members performance plan and to ensure that it will meet to effective orgnisational goal and positive outcomes.During an open meeting she can communicate with the team members using various methods such as through training, using simple words, using visuals, giving confidence for others to speak up their plans.Ensure proper planning with creativity, productivity and effectiveness from the team members.
Assistance in meeting the organisational goal
a.Know the team thoroughly and understand the team work and encourage them.
b.Ensure the performnce plan is meeting the organisational goals
c. Make sure that the plan is specific, measurable,achievable,relavent and timely.
d. It should be providing patient safety, care efficiency,accuracy, proffessional development.
