Mrs Shini a house wife, expierienced serious food poisoning for some weeks,she admitted the near health care centre,where she worked as clinical instructer,her ultrasonography and MRI scan revealed a danged much more than a normal case of food poisoning. A malignant growth in her superiou vena cava in the largest vein that carries deoxygenated blood from the upper part of the body towards the heart,this cancer is rare in the community, and the symptoms and signs of this type of cancer developed in the later stages only,it usually late what we could treat, The surgen adviced her to do the surgery urgently to remove the tumor, otherwise there will be a chance of the metastasis to the other part of the body, she undergone the tumor exicion surgery and the mass sent for the histo pathology lab for the examination of the malignancy,for this surgery massive transfussion of blood product was done, the blood products was donated by her family members,the surgery was success,due to bleeding Shini was back in operating room several hours,and shifted to the intensive care unit for observation, after 3 days she shifted to the room,Today she is discharging from the hospital,a bokhe is given by the hospital staff now she is healthy her childrens came to the hospital for recieving her,she says thanks for the hospital and express her gratitude.
