Hello i am Biotin.I can play the following 3 roles for body company:-

1.Prevent hair loss- i can prevent hair loss and help body not get patchy hairs.

2.Multiple Sclerosis-When I am taken in high amounts I can substantially reduce vision problems and paralysis of patients with Multiple times.

3.Brittle nails- Taking me for long time can help in having thick nails.

When taken with chromium blood sugar is lowered in people with diabetes.

When taken with zinc I help to reduce hair fall.

Studies shows that even consumption of mine in large amounts might not show any adverse effects.As I am a water soluble vitamin any excess will be excreted through urine.So no toxicity has been seen with me.

But if i am consumed in less amount or someone is alcoholic(reduces the absorption of biotin) then the following may occur:-

1.Hair fall and thinning of hair.

2 Brittle nails

3.Rashes around eyes,nose and mouth.
