How do you think as an EMS manager you would deal with conflict or disagreement within an EMS organization? How do you feel is the best way to discuss conflicts when it relates to financial operations of the organization? Does there need to be an organizational approach to discussing requirements on training and medical equipment? What happens when there is a significant change in the regulatory requirements and the organization has not budgeted for it? How can this conflict be handled? How would you address the discussion of an employee wanting an new piece of equipment such as a new power-load stretcher?
As a EMS manager avoid conflict and welcome a healthy disagreement. Healthy conflicts are good for organizations for success. deal with the conflict where it is prioritized and understands people's motivation. EMS is an emergency medical service as a system that organizes all aspects of service provided to the patient. EMS managers have financial and budget data they are very concern about financial issues and proactvely deal with that to avoid harm to organization balance. suffering from reputational damage and avoid negative financial mismanagement.organizaiton do many things in scduling, training, helping make equriment widely available in our organization, it improves environematal performance and improve learning and establish required tranining.when significant changes in regulatory requirement and organization not budgeted it cause potential harm to emergcny patients. As a managers should be assured that resources are obtained and used effectively and efficiently in the organization. financial, operational and capital budgets should be in control process. plan the operational budgets, deal with conflicts on objectives and realities.motivate managers and employers for the performance and evaluate the operational budget and coordinate the activity and educate and learn the budget role to understanding better. it is complicated task to resolve conflict but it can be fixed to some extend. invet the equipment for the employer that empower them to safely do their jobs and shows empoyes value their safety needs and concern.
