Self care means maintaing physical health like healthy body, daily routine habits ( grooming, exercise ) and emotional health by prevention and treating illness.

Identify need for self care in emotional cases :

- Due to failure, frustration, stress, financial crisis, lack of self confidence, suffering from mental disturbance or disorder like depression, delusion, hallucinations the person many become emotionally unstable and will get upset easily. These will reflect in sudden change in behaviour such as irritable, anxious, sad,.aloof, negative feeling, changes in eating and sleeping habits, lack interest or pleasure in activities, difficult in concentration and making decisions. These are some signs to identify need of self care in emotional cases. These will result in lack of taking care of oneself.

When one is suffering from poor mental health this will get reflect on physical health. Were mind and body is always interrelated. So one must aware of emotional and physical health by keeping ones body healthy and free from disease.
