Self Care:
What does self-care mean to you? What do you do for self-care? What do you think you could do better? How do boundaries play a part in self-care?
(1) Self care means taking care of yourself to stay healthy, physically as well as mentally in order to cope up with day to day life. Self-care is very important for me. It means doing anything that keeps you physically , mentally as well as emotionally fit. It includes maintaining physical health, prevent diseases ,cure illness and to seek medical advice and care from time to time.
(2) self-care is very important for every individual .It helps in maintaining well being. Following are the things I do or one should do for self-care like 1- eating healthy meals 2- regular exercise 3- sports atleast once a week 4- maintaining sleep routine 5- walk .
(3) Not only physical but mental health is equally important for me so things to keep ourself mentally stable should be also included in self-care like 1- maintaining healthy boundaries in Relationships 2- Do atleast one activity you enjoy in a day 3- Engage with positive people. 4- Make time for yourself.
(4) Problems of mental distress, depression are more these days because many people don't set boundaries in relations. Lack of boundaries can lead to emotional disbalance , anxiety, anger, stress .So establishing healthy boundaries in every Relationships is very important for keeping yourself mentally healthy. Lack of boundaries can lead to unhealthy relationships so certain boundaries at workplace and with friends , beloved's helps in maintaining professional as well as personal relations. Boundaries play important role in self-care as it contributes in keeping yourself mentally healthy.
