Drug abuse is increasing in the present world enormously. The shocking factor about the drug abuse is that adolescent age groups are the main victims of the drug abuse.

Predisposing factor for adolescent drug abuse are lack of health education regarding drug abuse, lack of care by parents, lack of strict rule implementation in schools, lack of strict laws, leaving the adolescent alone during study period .

Helping the government in making policies to prevent adolescent drug abuse : strict implementation of law against drug abuse, parental education, awareness classes to adolescent, the counselling to students.

Preventing relapses : give awareness to adolescent regarding the risk of getting infection like HIV during drug abuse by sharing needles so that they become more careful ,address other consequence of drug abuse. Give this awareness programmes regularly so that they will be in a track without drugs.
