When we think of healthcare, what are your fears? Do you have any phobias? What are some challenges you think you will face with angry or aggressive clients?

When i think of health care, i feel fear of my doings in my profession some times. Because in my duty timings, i really dedicated 100 percentage of my self to perform my work accurately and perfectly. In some circumstances like short staffing and long working hours it is difficult to devote my 100 percentage in my work due to busy working hours. Some how i satisfy my clients and do my level best for them.

I dont have any phobias, because if i failed to do my work completely because of short staffing. I noted it and carefully give handover to the next staff. Also make sure that my clents are satisfied with my work or they have any uncomfortabilities.

I had faced so many challenges in my working hours. The main challenge i had faced is aggressive patient behaviour.

Some time the client wouldn't hear anything from the nurses. The angry of patient may be due to doubts in the diagnostic test, billing, discharge summary, management and care etc. For every issues they will ask the nurses, some times the won't listen what the nurse is trying to say. Consolation of angry or aggressive patient is really a challenge for every nurses .

But we can handle the patient with calm appearance, speak softly, speaking in a non judgemental and non provoking manner. Also it is very important to listen the patient carefully and consoling all her or his doubts. We must show respet to the patient and maintain the eye contact. Thease are the manners which i used in my professional period. Thease are all helped me very much to handle the aggressive and angry patients
