Impact of 5G technology to the society.
(450-600 words) PLEASE
The impact of the Fifth Generation (5G) technology to the society would be profound. It is obvious, it will be an update or upgrade advancement in the latest version, or generation of technology standard for cellular networks. It would be evident, technically, how sophisticated, improved, and advanced the technology is when we all start using it. From people's individual perspective, everyone would want to upgrade their cellular technology standard to 5G upgrading from either 3G or 4G on their devices.
There would be both, positive and negative impacts of 5G technology on society. The most demand would come from enterprises, businesses, corporate companies, organizations, governments, defense, etc., as all these entities would have a bulk demand for doing things, carrying out activities, tasks, and operations to keep their businesses up and running.
The flipside of the impact would be all existing 3G and 4G cellular or mobile devices would be useless, in case, their owners buy mobile devices with 5G technology standard. This may result in the wastage of 3G and 4G mobile devices, irrespective of their functioning ability.
5G will be critical to many. It will enable extraordinary levels
of connectivity. 5G will serve the society with its useful and
helpful functionalities such as broadband that would be superfast,
providing low latency communication with ultra-reliability,
machine-type communications that would be massive, would provide
reliability, high availability, and usage of energy in an efficient
way. Thus, 5G will create new value across industries and society.
5G will be fully realized through its wide-scale deployment
combining with other connectivity solutions.
Its important functional drivers will make ways to a broad range of
opportunities, that will include service delivery optimization,
decision-making, and experience of end-users.
5G will boost global economic value for society as a whole to prosper and progress. It will generate millions of jobs in the 5G global value chain. There is a large estimated economic output potential. There could be more than 40 use cases that would identify key industrial advances and social impact areas.
5G would transmit a high volume of data to mobile and Internet of Things (IoT) devices as if they were connected traffic signal lights. Technically, about its specification, 5G would deliver data at nearly 10 Gigabits per second, many folds faster than 4G which has a speed of 100 Megabits per second.
5G's impact on society would be to minimize inequalities in physical access, particularly in differences in access arising as a consequence of the rural-urban divide. There would be general improvements in the quality of life of people in society. 5G would magnify social inequality, however, in other instances, it would narrow social inequality. 5G may change the socio-economic hierarchies that exist today. 5G would provide universal mobile access to the Internet. It would be an important component of the future networked society. Technically, it will have a massive system capacity. It would create a sustainable society.
5G will be used thoroughly for IoT; to build smart cities; autonomous cars, drones, remote robotics, etc., all to be used by the people in the society.
